Mary was invited to participate in a Jeopardy game during the 12th District Judicial Conference. Mary defeated a common pleas court judge and another appellate attorney by answering questions on appellate procedure, local rules, briefs, and oral argument.
Mary’s victory was sealed when she answered a question about how long won of the the appellate judges had sported a mustache.
“I clearly had the best strategy — betting zero in Final Jeopardy was a bold stroke that worked out for me,” Mary said. “I look forward to defending my title next year.”
